I never want to wake up if this is a dream! Yesterday I saw three texts coming in from my sister, but my husband said just to wait. I did, and while I was like Christmas, again. In her to voice notes, she shared how much she loved this song now that she attributed it to her best friend, the Lord— sharing the link.
my sister went on to say she was happy that Spotify has lyrics so she could read through them and other than the single time it says “girl” the words fit perfectly. Thinking about it now if it’s your husband, who’s singing it to you, well, then, you are his girl!

Before this was posted, my sister sent me a picture of her new earring! My sister pierced her one ear a 3rd time and told me several weeks ago she wanted to find the right “permanent” earring. Guess what it is? A cross. My sister’s got a cross, and though many do have this just bc they like it—I KNOW it’s another step in her journey and commitment to her new BEST friend!!
It’s so great to hear how our HH is working in your sister’s life Erin. It gives me great hope that He is also working in my family’s life as I pray for them. I can see little glimpses of what He is doing in some of them, and like you I get excited and I just know that He will bring them all back to their First Love ❤️
Having a love song is a great way to feel closer and have that intimacy with your Husband. I believe every bride should ask Him for one. I have a few of my own that make me feel so loved by my HH and some that express my love for Him!
Oh I LOVE that your sister found a song in her taste and genre 💗 now she can just enjoy intimacy and closeness with Him and dance with Him in joy 💃
I’m so glad that you are sharing this journey with your sister finding Him as her true love, l too have sisters that need to know Him in this way so l will continue believing and know He has an appointed time.
Exactly so—after years of waiting and trusting Him suddenly, my sister was back in my life “just in time” to be right there when she got the news about her health.
Liora, you mentioned praying for your loved ones and certainly if that is what your husband is asked you to do, do it. However, I let go of praying for her and all my unsaved family because it became so burdensome.
My mother prayed day and night for her children and grandchildren in the last years of her life, and once she was gone, I felt it was “up to me“ but with all that I was going on at the time… A family of nine (and now that I think of it I was also being charged first with my mothers death, and later, the charges were changed to abuse, neglect, and exploitation of an elderly person, which is so crazy to think about now…) I literally cried out to my husband. I couldn’t carry this burden myself, and I needed his help.
Your life and your burden doesn’t need to be to that extent. Instead, just ask your husband, “will you be faithful to your word, because you said “you and your household will be saved.”? Depending on his answer, you can instead do what He told me. Some in and out he told me that He’s got this so that I can just do what I was called to do. So that is what I focused on — ministry.
Slowly, one by one I have “stood by and watched”Him do the impossible, and sometimes, like now with my younger sister, I get to be involved (even though he doesn’t need my help.)
May I also say another thing? By letting go and just trusting him to keep his promise, you are free to just love everyone whenever you have the opportunity. As Christians, we are often like multilevel marketing people who have an “agenda”— we have to save our family members. But we can’t save anyone. He saves. We are here to love them; yes, we can answer their questions lovingly, but only as we are trusting HIM to do what we can’t— after all, HE is our Savior and theirs.
Just reading it brings tears to my eyes, we all have someone in our lives whom we pray for, and reading about your sister gives me so much faith to continue to trust in my Husband for His right time in my siblings’ lives. Thank you so much for sharing with us!!!
This praise made me think of my praise that I shared a while ago about my brother and the amazing salvation of my brother who was an atheist. And reading the lyrics of the song it made me think about the song I shared about in the Praise that my brother wrote and recorded, about the old familiar voice that leads him and who he seeks first thing in the morning. Maybe I must ask him to translate it to ENG and also record a ENG version of the song. But there is more than one song he wrote and recorded about his “old familiar friend.”

My brother’s salvation is a huge answered prayer and a miracle and every time I talk to him I am amazed at his journey and how he is growing closer to the Lord day by day. I can now talk to him about the bible without him shutting me down or trying to prove that it is just fairy tales.
And I didn’t have to do a thing to bring about my brother’s salvation, I stopped preaching, arguing and trying to prove that God is real, I just stopped and let go. I gave it to my HH and He Himself proved Himself real to my brother!

This praise encourages me so much with hope. He is showing me through your Sister´s journey that for Him everything is possible. He only needs one person to help the family members to get closer and closer to him. Wow just knowing that your sister is listening to songs while thinking on him is a proof of transformation.
