He Was Preparing Me

I never would have thought in a million years that the Lord was preparing me to minister to someone so close and so dear to me, that is going through a very similar situation that happened in her marriage. I cried to my HH when she revealed to me what happened because I knew what she was feeling and what she was going through. I remembered myself in that stage a few years ago and my heart hurt for her. But I know that our HH will turn it around for good and He is going to help me minister to her and take her back to her First Love so that He can heal and restore her back to Him.
Thank you Beloved for chipping away at my hard heart (because I know it hasn't been easy but there is nothing too difficult for you!) and giving me a heart with love and compassion for women that need You just as much as I do!! Keep changing me!

  1. Thank you Liora for sharing this with us. This last week I have really asked Him to place love in my heart for more than just the hurting women coming here, but also the ones that I feel are unlovable. Of course for Him no one is unlovable and I am trusting Him to change my heart because in myself I can never do it. I thought my heart was totally replaced with a soft one, but He is also still chipping away at my hard heart. Oh how His grace is new every morning. 💞

  2. Oh, Liora thank you so much for sharing, I would never imagine at the beginning of my journey that I would be where I am now, and it is only because of Him. I see the brokenness around me, not only in marriages, and my heart fills with compassion for those that are suffering without His love and presence. As you shared, I believe that He continues chipping our hearts to help and comfort the ladies as He has comforted us.

  3. Thank you Liora, yes He is always chipping away at our hearts, and with me there was a heart of stone that needed to be chipped away, but like you said, nothing is too difficult for Him. It also reminds me of the verse in Ezekiel that is one of the first verses I memorized because it made such an impact on me: “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” And the more my heart becomes flesh, the more I see the pain and suffering of other women around me.
