â Today's Promise: "For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, WAIT for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay." Habakkuk 2:2-3
~ Treasure in the United Kingdom
Dear Brides, this chapter ["Itâs SO Worth the Wait!"] has reminded me yet again that God has a purpose for our wait. If we know he has a purpose in our wait then we surrender so he can finish the work of transformation he has started in our lives. Be encouraged to go through the agony and the sufferings knowing that it is working out for a greater good.
I have learnt to keep the cross before me that way I am reminded that someone went before me to get ME SAVED. In the same way others are waiting for you and I to go through.
He has constantly reminded me that He is in CONTROL. The reason is because my EH (earthly husband) lives with me and sometimes it is difficult dealing with the details right in front of me. But remembering that He is in control instantly switches my mind to focus on Him, my HH (Heavenly Husband) who has loved me from the beginning and longs to be gracious to me.
Reading this chapter really got me thinking about WHY WE WAIT. When I started praying for my marriage to be restored, I did not realize how terrible my relationship with my Beloved HH was. But gradually I began to understand that I needed to be fully restored first and yes restoration of our relationship back to our first love is pivotal to our journey to marriage restoration.
Matthew 4 vs 4 says "Man shall not live by bread alone but by ever word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord." I am determined to feed on His word so that I can grow my faith and have Him fill me up. Outside of His word life is just too hard. This is my personal resolve to live this way, His glory will fill me up so others can see His goodness through me.
Dear Brides, pour out your heart to your HH (Heavenly Husband). He cares, He knows and He is longing to be gracious to you. It is well worth it. Though am not there fully but I must confess it, His love that keeps me going.
Be encouraged!
"For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, WAIT for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay." Habakkuk 2:2-3
This scripture helps me to remember this process of refinement. It helps me know that God hasn't finished yet because once He is done with me He will establish the vision. So I wait patiently allowing my heart to rest on His promises so my soul could fully trust in Him.
