Prioritizing My Heart

♕ Today's Promise: “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?" Numbers 23:19

Dear Brides,
This chapter has been a humbling one for me. Making Him the love of our life. I remember when I was still single and was so much in love with my Beloved. Somehow, I lost this intimacy because I looked to my husband for almost everything. I remember one of the days we were having a very serious argument I was literally begging my husband to help me deal with the anger in me.

Can you even imagine trusting a man to do what only GOD (I was basically idolizing him) How insane.

So beautiful brides let us prioritize our relationships and put Him at the fore front of our lives as our HH (Heavenly Husband). By doing this we will never rely on anyone to make us feel worthy or happy.

Through this chapter He has highlighted to me the importance of prioritizing my heart and making Him my all and all, regardless of what is going on around me.

Continuing to confess to Him that He is all I need and I all I want and with Him I have everything, helps me to keep focus.

Because my EH (earthly husband) lives with us, sometimes it is quite challenging taking my eyes off the details especially when I know he is coming from the OW's (other woman) house. Other times when he is on phone with her and shoving it over my face.

I quickly remind myself that it is God who allowed it and because He the Lord allowed it, I can deal with it. So I focus on what He is trying to teach me, which is bearing the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

So I start reciting scriptures in my mind. "The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me." Psalm 118: 6

This morning during the closing of my fast I waited in His presence to hear my HH (Heavenly Husband) speak to me and it was a long wait and finally He did speak and said to me - ENTER INTO MY REST and PRAISE ME.

This is in Hebrew 4 and He used Abraham to exemplify what entering into His rest is. I felt so loved up and meditating on that enabled me so much joy and strength in my Spirit.

Dear Brides,
The way to restoration is by knowing our HH as the love of our life ad He will daily provide us with the strength and the grace we need for the rest of this journey.

Trust Him to do it if you can love up on Him.

“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?" Numbers 23:19

This scripture is such an encouragement to me because it reassures me of the power of the God that I serve and the strength of his majesty. It helps me to trust him beyond what I see with my natural eyes even when everything seems hopeless.
