Dear Brides, this chapter ["The Love of My Life"] will fill you with hope and will show you one of the most beautiful truths about the love of our God. He is the only one who can fill our hearts and lives. This chapter will remind you of how important it is to think of yourself first and heal your heart. You will not have to think of others, what they do or do not do. You will not have to do it alone, our Beloved Lord will be there with you teaching you what real love is and softening your heart.

Reading this chapter again, and asking the Lord to help me take what He wanted to teach me, made me see it differently this time. I used to see it as if I had to resign everything and it did not feel good. This time was different because my focus was more on how important He has become in my life, on how sweet it has been for me to have Him close to me. But also, reading it made me want to have more and more of Him. To know Him as He is, not with the fear of a God that does not sympathize with my situations but someone who cares for me, listens to my prayers, shows me the way, fills me with love for Him, for myself and for others, a loyal friend, a redeemer, a protector and all that is good. Seeing the Lord as He is, makes us love Him dearly and then nothing else can take His place in our hearts, because nobody can be as good and as perfect as He is.

As I said, I had read this chapter several times and I did not like the book very much, it usually made me feel sad and hopeless. Reading it again with the Lord, I was able to notice what the author says....that we can ask Him to take care of everything. This shows such a profound faith in that He will take good care of everything and we can really trust Him, everything will be fine if He is in charge. This can not cause anything else but love. He has done it in my life many times but I still need to trust Him more.

The Lord has shown His love for me and my children in many ways, and even though I have looked for Him for many years and have tried to put into practice many of the principles stated in this ministry, I know there are some that have been superficial. I will pray the Lord to help me change what is in my heart that is not agreeable to Him, and to help me know Him better, to fill my life and my heart so I do not loose hope.

I will ask the Lord to please show me His love and to fill my heart with it so that I can share it with others. I know there are many people out there who need to be really loved and to see the Lord through me. I need more of this kind of love.

Dear Brides, You are beautiful to the Lord, He is right there next to you with His arms open, hoping for you to go to Him and receive the most precious love that will make you radiant. He cares for you and for every little detail that is in your heart, and He is willing to help you. Feel and receive His love, and do not loose heart, He will make incredible miracles in your life and the life of your family. Trust Him.

"Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him." Psalm 34:5-8

Reading this chapter brought me to this psalm. First because looking for Him really changes the way you look and the way you feel, and second because after He is in your heart and He is first, He promises to deliver us. "the poor man" or us, "the poor women" who have been abandoned can call Him and will hear us and will save us of all our troubles. It is a beautiful promise stated in the chapter. I used to read it just thinking of the sacrifice we had to make, my heart was hard, afraid and hurt and did not see that it is not a sacrifice, that He gives us the grace to love others, He gives us the love we need to give others, and not only that, but He saves us, and blesses us because the Lord is good, our Beloved is merciful, He loves us. This is the truth we need to use in order to resist the attacks and lies of the enemy who wants to steal our hope.
