"And He *said to them, “Because of your greater faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith [a]the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." M17:20
Dear Brides, when reading the lesson "Mountain Moved" from the Moving Mountains course, I was able to understand how it helps us to bring the perspective whose focus is to show us the biblical principle on how we should use our faith.
This text that guides this chapter mentions exactly the smallness of a seed, which is the mustard seed. But even though it is so small, we know that when the mustard seed is planted in the ground, it grows impressively, and in the end, this small grain becomes an imposing tree that serves as a nest for the birds of the air.
I could understand that someone who has faith like a mustard seed fervently seeks the presence of the Lord incessantly, trusting that God has control of everything in His hands, and this person also knows that at the right time the answer will come. This response, however, will be in accordance with God's sovereign purpose.
Dear ones, I have to say that sometimes I still find myself asking why certain mountains still insist on being in front of me. But I feel so blessed when He comes lovingly and allows me to read such a rich lesson, making me reflect that no matter what is getting in the way of what God has promised me, or even how horrible the circumstances in my life are right now, I have the certainty that God is more than capable of changing everything in an instant!
Therefore, dear friend, so that we can live this principle in a concrete and real way, I think we should use it daily as a form of training our faith, because this way every day it will be more intense, and we will certainly be able to go out and walk towards Him. Never forgetting His promises to us.
"I certainly believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living." P27:13
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD and whose trust is the LORD.” J17:7

My dear I share everything you wrote here! When we expect great things from Our Beloved and other people, we often get what we’re looking for great things! But if we allow ourselves to stay in a place of doubt and look for all of the things that are wrong in our relationships with our Heavenly Husband and the people in our lives, we will stay in that place of unbelief and experience the fruit of a faithless life. This type of life does not please Him, and this lack of trust and faith affects our relationship with Him and others.
Mountains will come, but we will climb then as well!! We have Him with us!
It’s true Isabella, it is impossible for our faith to be “firm” in its growth when we let doubt and lack of trust in God dominate our hearts.
Thank you for being here dear.
Much love to you!🌻✨️

Thank you Liza for your comment, while reading the other comments here this exact verse came to mind. And that is exactly the way, to look to Him, because only He can lead us to the best paths. Because faith is an action based on the certainty of who God is, and how much He loves us and is faithful to His Word.
Much love to you.🌻✨️
What my Beloved showed me is to take my eyes of the mountain and fix it on Him, then we do not see how big and unmoveable the mountain is, but then we see how big and incredible our Beloved is!
Yes, dear Adina, because we know that “To Him who is able to do infinitely more than everything we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.”
Thank you for her comment my dear.
