â Today's Promise: "But what happens when we live Godâs way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchardâthings like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely." Galatians 5:22-23

Dear Brides, We need to mature in our faith and in our minds so that we will not struggle with our emotions. Women are very emotional beings and really it is a gift from God but we must learn to be careful with that gift. Our emotions are not always reliable and when we react off of our feelings, it can destroy and bring so much damage to a situation. As His brides we must manage these unpredictable sensations properly.
The way the woman is taught nowadays is to be strong, opinionated and make her voice heard. I use to be this kind of contentious woman. If something bothered me or you made me feel a certain way, you were going to hear about it. Now I've learned that when feelings are attached to a conversation or something you do, it can cause destruction in that situation. Emotions and feelings can sometimes warp our senses of right and wrong and that is why we must run to our HH (Heavenly Husband) to help us cast down anything against God's knowledge (when we try to use emotions negatively) in favor of following His leadership and judgement (trying to use emotions positively).
Yesterday afternoon I felt attacked about some things that were brought up to me but I was able to not say anything and be kind and come to the Lord afterwards to tell Him about my feelings of sadness, anger, bitterness and disappointment. He already knew, but I know He likes me to talk to Him about it so that I can release those feelings to Him. It is not an immediate fix but I know that resting in Him and constantly seeking Him and what He wants to tell me, will bring me peace and calm in the midst of that storm.
I don't want my feelings to dictate how I'm going to live or react. I need to remove those emotions from my view of everything and just look straight ahead as His bride with mercy, meekness, forgiveness and love.
Dear Brides, we are made up of many feelings that are caused by our emotions, and these emotions create the highs and lows in our lives. We must learn how to use those emotions for our benefit rather then let them destroy us. Let's remember that our HH (Heavenly Husband) loves us at our best and at our worst, so we must practice this same love with others.
"Donât fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of Godâs wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. Itâs wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." Philippians 4:6-7
This scripture shows me that I should bring my concerns (emotions) to God, allowing His peace and guidance to help me.

This scripture shows me the positive behaviors God wants for us like love, kindness, gentleness and joy.
