â Today's Promise: "But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, 'Lord, save me!' Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. 'You of little faith,' he said, 'why did you doubt?' And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, 'Truly you are the Son of God.'" Matthew 14: 30-33

Dear brides, I also do this when I read the testimonies of renewed marriages, I think of mine, which will one day be added to the others, and I think about what I will write there and what I must not forget to mention. Let us not lose faith and think of the promises we have received from our Beloved. Let us not take our eyes off Him and look around so that we do not succumb to fear.
It helps and encourages me a lot when the author admonishes us not to look at the circumstances that are happening, but we must instead look at our Heavenly Husband, immerse ourselves in His arms and His Word. Peter began to dive as he took his eyes off Jesus and noticed what was happening around him, fear seized him and that is what we are also failing for.
The author recommends that we have His Word in our minds and also remember the testimonies of renewed marriages that we have read in order to remain encouraged. I can never thank enough for the testimonies (of any kind) that strengthen my faith so much every day. We must also constantly make sure that we are walking in accordance with His will, if we are not sure, let us just ask Him. I believe He will show us the right way, but it is important to obey.
I want to encourage you, dear brides, to pass on praise and glorify His name, because that is also part of what helps us to cross every dark valley. When I open the RMI (Restore Ministries International) website in the morning and read how wonderful our beloved Husband is, it is priceless! It also leads me to join in and send praises that belong only to Him, to sow seeds so that we can fall in love with Him even more, and to be encouraged by the hope He gives.
Dear brides, let us not lose heart and be deceived by thinking that our experiences with God are not interesting enough or wonderful enough to appeal to anyone. Let us ask Him to open our eyes so that we can see how kindly He cares for us and are grateful to Him for every single thing. And then let's write it down and send it, we never know to whom it can change lives and encourage him, just because he may have experienced something similar recently, but he didn't understand it then.
"Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.â1 Peter 3: 8-9

For those who were in the boat it was amazing to see what has happened, they began to bow down and saw the Glory of God. Will those around us also see the Glory of God through our story and life?
