â Today's Promise: âBecause you have burned sacrifices and have sinned against the LORD and not obeyed the voice of the LORD or walked in His law, His statutes or His testimonies, therefore this calamity has befallen you, as it has this day.â Jeremiah 44:23

Dear Brides,
Are you still repeating to yourself that you can not afford something you want or need? Do you have your calculator on every time you go to a store and find something you like? Do you fear money will not be enough to cover all your bills? If your answers are yes, you need to start reading this chapter and let God's Abundance to touch you.
I learned that most of the time we enjoy doing sacrifices just because we think those will solve any situation we are in, however, the most important principle here is our obedience in all the areas. As the author mentions this is not just about our finances but our life and how we apply it with others. I recognize we have tendency to fear when there is lack of something, but instead we should just meditate on His principles about Love, about Giving and about tithing in the correct place.
I felt extremely related with what the author shared about just getting bargains, as it has happened to me and when I tell my testimony it sounds like I only want to shop for cheap items, but that is not the case.
Last week the Lord had me to go to the mall to make a cash deposit into my bank account. I took advantage to walk around and see what He wanted to show me. For a very long time I wanted to buy a nude belt for my dresses but I did not have the shoes to match, so I looked around and I found some very beautiful ones but the heal was too high and I decided not to buy them just asking Him to show me a better option.
I finished my little visit, went home and suddenly the Lord lead me to check online. A pair of shoes came up from a very expensive shop in an exclusive mall close home and I was a bit shocked. When the weekend arrived I saw a dear friend and asked her to go with me to that store. I went directly to the shoe department and found the shoe I wanted just right there. The price was the same I saw online, it was very affordable but when I got to the cashier they offered me an additional 20% discount.
My friend and I were speechless and we were laughing of what He did.
Obedience and not sacrifice, this can only be lived by meditating on His Word, by living His principles and sharing them with other through our testimonies.
Dear Brides,
We all want to live an Abundant life and be free of this Poverty Mentality but for us to be able to get there is by learning how to serve others, how to give to others, how to have compassion to others and the secret is to understand that difference between be fully obedient and want to sacrifice ourselves to solve our current lack.
âBecause you have burned sacrifices and have sinned against the LORD and not obeyed the voice of the LORD or walked in His law, His statutes or His testimonies, therefore this calamity has befallen you, as it has this day.â Jeremiah 44:23
