I had a LOT to ask my Husband

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (R828)

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” (P119105)

Yesterday l got a voice note from my younger brother asking if l would take my mom to come live with me for a year or 2? My mom and niece have been living with my brother for a couple of years now. My niece works online and my mom gets a government pension so they all contribute to the living expenses.

Listening closely to the voicenote this morning again after speaking to my Husband and asking Him what was His plan I could hear my moms raised voice in the background.

I had a busy day yesterday but my Husband is so good because He woke me up in the middle of the night because He KNEW l needed to speak to Him and discuss the situation with Him before l spoke to EH.

It was such a lovely conversation and l could ask Him “How would life be with my mom staying with us” ? “What about my mom in laws stuff that’s taking up all the space in my son’s rooms cupboards? ” My son’s clothes is in my daughter’s rooms cupboards…??

I had a LOT to ask my Husband and by the end of our conversation I only felt peace because He told me He is in control and He would work it out for good 😊🙌

I will have more to share as this unfolds so l will be back to share more 😉

  1. Thank you for sharing Atarah! Communion with the Lord is my fav time of the day. Every time I think about talking to Him just makes me smile. I know I can share anything and completely trust Him. This feels even more when I found HH. There’s a sense of stability and assurance that I didn’t experience before. Yes God will work it out for good. Can’t wait to hear more about it.

  2. Thank you for sharing dear Atarah, I am excited to see what the Lord is going to do. My parents are moving this side before the end of the year and I too am seeking my HH and He keeps on reminding me that I must just trust Him and rest in Him.

  3. Can’t wait to hear how He will work this out Atarah, but He is in control and He will work it out for good.
