â Today's Promise: âAnd my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesusâ Philippians 4:19
~ Poppy in Costa Rica
Dear Brides,
If you have found some of the most amazing promises of God in your Bible and still have troubles living them, come to read this chapter ["What Do You Believe?"] to understand how your faith will help you to break all those bad concepts the world has taught you for so many years.
I grew up with the idea of believing that the only way to get things in life including money to life was working hard, in fact, at home the sentence: "money does not growth in trees, if you want something, work hard to get it" was very often said and it was deeply kept in my mind.
By translating this book many years ago and going back to journal the Lord helped me to understand that He is everything and we are nothing without Him. Yes we can work hard but only if that comes from Him and it does not mean that to have the desires of our heart that would be the only road to take. It means that He is our provider, He is waiting for us to ask and He is making possible what we think is impossible.
Reading the Bible is not enough to go through this journey, we need to apply His Word and the most important of all, trust Him for everything.
Fear is the hurdle that must be overcome always when trusting my Beloved as my provider. Some days ago I was overwhelmed at work and when this happens I close my computer and take a break just to talk to my Husband, He led me to lie down in the grass of my backyard, looking at the blue sky. Some minutes later I felt a bit uncomfortable thinking that my blouse would get dirty from the grass and I told my Husband that I have always wanted to have a garden chair to relax, work and take some sun bath. Well although my mind tried to think about the bills to pay, my Beloved took me to a store where I found that amazing garden chair which I have been using now to work daily outside.
He reminded me that He is my provider and no matter what He will help me to pay for all that I need to, because He also wants to spoil me as I am His princess.
Living the principles and sharing when He opens the opportunity is the best way to show others how He is more than enough to get you free from that poverty mentality.
Dear Brides,
Many ideas have been recorded into your mind by family members or work team mates, however, God's promises are powerful, He wants us to be abundant in all ways and He wants us to have freedom from poverty, not just financially but spiritually as well. He has promised to be our Husband, our provider and He is a man who does not lie.
