â Today's Promise: "Since all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God, and are being justified [declared free of the guilt of sin, made acceptable to God, and granted eternal life] as a gift by His [precious, undeserved] grace, through the redemption [the payment for our sin] which is [provided] in Christ Jesus." Romans 3:23-24

Dear Brides, Everything good that comes in us and through us is only by the grace of God. Every single one of us is loved by God and we all have the offer of grace extended to us. All we have to do is accept it.
I've questioned the difference between works by faith and works by law. It took me a while to comprehend the difference in these 2 scriptures where one says âFor by grace you have been saved Through faith; And that not of yourselves, It is the gift of God; Not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.â Ephesians 2:8-9 It is important to see here that by God's grace we have been saved. It is not by works. Salvation is done strictly on the basis of God's grace. God's gift of grace comes through the cross of the Lord, not our works, the cross makes it all possible.
The second scripture was "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, âYou have faith; I have deeds.â Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. James 2: 17-18 So it is through grace that God works effective change in our hearts and lives, producing good deeds. That is nothing that I can do on my own.
Grace gives us a new life which is not condemned by God. Through God's grace we are forgiven, transforming our thinking, resulting in the renewal of our mind and heart. Through grace we live the kind of life that God would like every one of His brides to experience.
I need to stop trying to "work" for anything that He has freely given me. I struggle with this concept but I need to renew my mind everyday so that I do walk freely with Him not trying to earn anything. I will fail trying to keep the law because grace is the power that God willingly gives us to help us do what we could never do on our own. It is not about anything that I can do but what He can do through me.
Dear Brides, His grace cannot be mixed or joined with the law or our works. We don't have to worry or strive because there is no work that we can do to make us âgood enough for God", so we just need to walk with Him freely and receive His love and grace. We should show grace generously because weâve been given grace generously.
