â Today's Promise: "My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." Psalm 121:1

Koleti's Journal Part 1: We Don't Find It Anywhere Else
Dear Brides,
I have learned so much about the chapter I read today and what our HH (Heavenly Husband) taught me:
1. What you and I need is not in the people of the world, either our EH (earthly husband), as mentioned in the chapter "they don't have it" which means, what the world has on this earth, they all belong to God. What God has put in us, the world doesn't have what God planted in our hearts. As the woman shared in her testimony that God said, He said that the people of this world are bankrupt in every way. Think about it. The people of the world (and most Christians) lack compassion, kindness, and love, and everyone has limited resources, yet we foolishly keep looking to them for our needs. All the while our Lord, our Lover, and our Friend has an endless source of every resource that we need and wantâavailable to usâwhen we simply look to Him alone!!
And every time we look to others instead of to Him, we find ourselves in even greater need when they fail to give us what we may need, deserve or want. Thatâs when we too, end up bankrupt because by looking to others, we have pulled the plug, cut the tie, and severed our Source, Him. âI am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothingâ (John 15:5).
So when the Lord revealed this principle that âthey donât have itâ to my mind, it blessed my heart and it teaches me a lesson as well. Sometimes I failed to seek what I needed from my true Source. Instead, I had sought what I needed (and what I felt my children needed) from someone who âdidnât have it.â God showed me that as the Lordâs bride, He gives me more than I need so I donât need to seek anything from anyone. Instead, I am expected, as His bride, to give to others in need from my over-abundance; my overflowing resources. And when we seek from any source who âdoesnât have it,â we too find ourselves without what we want and need and immediately become selfish and stingyânot a characteristic of the Lordâs bride.
This is the area of my life that I was struggling with since I separated from my EH (earthly husband). Before I usually called and messaged him to come home and tried to make things right between me and the children. The heartbreaking and hurting I experienced during that time because the Lord was missing in my life. I have done everything in my own understanding without leaning unto God, as I thought that will be the solution to my situation but it was not. I could not explain how messy I was with my life especially the life of my children and grandchildren, they were all affected by the decision my EH has made.
However, I did not give up hope because I believed in my heart that there is someone up there who is watching over me. So I started to pray and God heard my cry and answered my prayer. He is the one who directed me to the RMI Ministry (Restore Ministries International), where I have been offered the books How God can and will Restore your Marriage and A Wise Woman. While I was reading these books, at the same time, I heard God has spoken and explained everything about why He allowed the situation to happen.
The moment I surrendered my heart to the Lord and let go of my situation to Him to take care of. My life began to slowly change into the way that God wants me to be, and as soon as I received these two books, I could not wait to open them and started reading. After that, I was also offered to take the courses online which I am still doing and enjoyed this journey with my HH (Heavenly Husband). And where I am now, I have never been like this before with the life where I am now walking with the Lord.
He is so real in my heart and my life, and I cannot afford to let go of his hand, He is what I have, He is all I want, He is all I need, and He is all I live for, for the rest of my life.
The chapter is about 'they don't have it' which means, no one or anyone in this world has what the Lord is holding for His brides. Not even the people living on this earth will satisfy our needs, only the man up there, our HH. What our needs are where from our hearts and God is searching the mind and the heart, that is why the people of this world, 'they don't have it', but God has it.
Then for me to live these principles in my life is to put my trust in God in everything, such as surrendering my life to Him to care as Proverbs 3:5-6 declared, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
Instead of me asking anyone for help, I should go to the Lord where my help comes from.
"My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." Psalm 121:1
All these principles will be a guide to my life if I get closer to the heart of my Lord, through prayer, meditating on his Word and fellowship with Him.
