Dear brides, often times the Lord will have us walk through many valleys of darkness throughout our lives. The important thing to realize is that He will be with us every step of the way, teaching us, holding us, guiding us, and this is where you will get to know the Lord on a deeply intimate level as your Husband.

Just because the Lord asks us to walk through dark valleys does not mean that we are alone or that we are doing something wrong. Often times we go through some of the same valleys over and over again to cleanse, to strengthen and to expand our faith. Each time it gets a little easier as we learn to lean on Him.

I shared in a praise report recently how we go through different seasons in our restoration journey and sometimes we go around and around again to the same valleys. What this does, is strengthen our walk with the Lord. We learn to rely on Him instead of other things or people. These are just lessons being learned and sometimes it takes time. But what we can all acknowledge is that during those difficult times, is when we walk even closer and have more intimacy with our Beloved and that's what He wants. He wants to rid us of anything and everything that stands in the way of the joy that only someone who walks closely to Him can have.

I know that I cant do this on my own because I have tried for many years to do it my way and nothing ever turned out right, I was always left angry and empty inside. I'm a work in progress but I want to go through every trial with comfort, knowing that He will get me through to the other side like He always has.

Dear Brides, we are never promised that we will not go through those dark valleys but we are promised that He is with us every step of the way. Remember that as we go through the trials, we are coming closer and closer to our Heavenly Husband and that is where the transformation takes place, so do not fear.
