Dear Brides, we know the Creator of the Universe as our Husband. He has shown us His great love by sacrificing His very life so that we may come to the Father with Him. There is nothing He will not do for us. What are you believing Him for?
I hear You calling me out. Calling me to boldness, radical obedience and complete humility. It won't matter that my daughter scoffs and rolls her eyes when I tell her that You have told me to wait, or to change directions. When she sees Your plans come together for me, for us, she won't be able to deny Your great love, and the plans You have for me for good, for a hope and an unbelievable future. I'm laying it all down at Your feet. I surrender my whole life to You. It's scary and exciting to see what You have in mind. Hold my hand, let me see Your face and hear Your whisper, "to the right or to the left."
All I know is that, as Michele says, if I'm believing God for great things, I have to be prepared to be radically obedient. No matter what it looks like to others, what it looks like to my Husband is all that matters. Building His Kingdom is all that really matters. And people are drawn to His joy in me, even if they think I've lost my mind.
I am determined to walk in His ways. Most of the things He has called me to do - and I do - are things I don't tell people about. I could never really explain it. All I know is that I am determined to do whatever He puts in my heart. It has largely involved humbling myself. My pride certainly went before my destruction. In this world of self-promotion, many women would be horrified at my desire to humble myself. However, as I tell my daughter, my way didn't work. And as I walk in HIS ways, I have joy, freedom and peace that none of those women know. I pray to be a witness to another path. One that leads to an abundant life!
Dear Brides, there is nothing your Husband won't do for you. What are you willing to do for Him?

It has taken me far to long to be willing to die to myself. To become willing to sacrifice my ideas of what I want for my life for what He wants for my life. As I begin to understand and BELIEVE in His great love, I have become willing to lay it all down. I choose to die to myself, lay it all down believing that His plans for me are far better than those I have imagined for myself. It's time to believe Him for great things that I haven't even imagined.
