â Today's Promise: "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." Proverbs 31:25
~ Lota in Florida
Dear Brides, embracing this chapter ["That Amazing Grace"] will allow you to understand how it is possible to have JOY and peace in the midst of a storm.
Growing up I was taught to speak up and not be taken advantage of. Or to speak your mind so that it can be dealt with. Nothing from what I grew up with said to be discrete, but feelings always had to be shared and expressed. Oh how that has changed since I came to this ministry and found my HH (Heavenly Husband) who I can run to and find rest.
I remember some time ago when the ministry was sharing about letting go of Facebook. I thought to myself that perhaps this didn't pertain to me since I already had a restored marriage and would not be using it for anything I thought would be hurtful. The thing is, I had to learn that when He was leading me to do something, like let go of something, I had to just obey and not lean on my own understanding.
Through my journey, I had to let go of sooooo much and Facebook was a lesson learned. Let me share, like I said earlier, I didn't let go thinking I didn't need to and one day I received some messages and as I started reading and skimmed through, I realized they were from OW (other woman). I was in shock and immediately closed and stopped reading. At that moment my emotions and feelings were going crazy and I was at that moment fighting a tug-a-war with my flesh and my spirit.
PTL again for this ministry and my relationship with my HH (Heavenly Husband), I surrendered all to Him and as He was calming me, I heard clearly, "are you ready now to let go of Facebook?" I started crying thinking how sorry I was for ever thinking I knew what was best for me. I immediately closed my account, and although my EH (earthly husband) questioned me about closing FB, I had my HH peace to just say nothing, but that I no longer wanted it.
I have learned to live discreetly and not give into my feelings or react to them. Knowing that trials produce a tender heart and I should embrace them, so His strength shines from within us.
Dear Brides,
No matter what you thought was the right way, come and learn His truth and renew your mind by giving it all to Him, surrendering your burdens and living by His grace.
"She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." Proverbs 31:25
I chose this scripture because when we live by His grace, He allows us to have NO FEAR, but smile at the future.
