We all have plans or dreams for our lives. We look at other people’s lives and envy what they have or strive to have the same, although what we see is often not reality, but a picture presented to the world of an ideal life.
We set our course and do everything possible to obtain the dream we have or the plans we made. But then something happens that strip everything away from us that we worked so hard to obtain and keep.
But if you are willing to let go of the life you dreamed of, the life you might be about to lose, and be willing to follow the Lord and become His Bride, a new life awaits where nothing else will matter except Him. A life filled with joy and peace regardless of the circumstances that surround you. If we simply trust Him and seek Him only, we will feel loved, experience true healing and we will be happy. If you have the courage to let go a make Him all that matters, He will give you a new life with new experiences you could never have dreamed of.
We do not have to suffer and live with the hurt and pain of being abandoned and rejected, not when the Lord died on the cross for us to set us free from everything, we can live the abundant life now. We can experience joy and peace that surpasses all understanding no matter what our circumstances are. And we can radiate with our Beloved’s love and joy to win more Brides for Him to share in His eternal, everlasting love, to experience the same healing, peace and joy we received as His Brides.
What I also loved and really spoke to my heart in this chapter, is where the author said that it takes us thanking Him, and being broken, in order for us to be blessed. And I want to quote what she said:
“The only way to multiply, and the only way for His glory to appear, is when we give thanks and allow ourselves to be broken in order to feed those who are hungry for the truth, in order to heal those who are unloved.”
Are you willing to lay down your life and to embrace whatever He allows to come against you so you can become His Bride and live a life free of pain and sorrow? Are you willing to lose everything because He is all you want and all you need? Are you ready to live the abundant life He died to give you?
