  1. Thank you for this beautiful podcast, it is so comforting to know that He leads me. When I just look back on my life, He for sure leads me and has saved me from so many bad situations and off course I have to admit like with my car when the Lord said don’t drive forward and I didn’t listen and scratched my car, but then again He learned me a lesson and said that is why I must listen because He wants to protect me.

  2. Thank you Erin, i love how you share to follow Him as He leads us through the valleys because there is a purpose in the valleys we must go through. And just following His lead each and every day, throughout the day in whatever we do. And there is so much freedom in surrendering our plans and efforts and giving it to Him and to just follow His lead, knowing His plans are the best. I loved “Hinds Feet on High Places,” I was, and in some situations still are, a lot like Much-Afraid, always too scared and full of excuses to just go out and just follow His lead to reach the High Place.

  3. I love this lesson it’s such a confirmation. When I did my journal , I realized that he lead me into the valley of the shadow of death and when I got there I was surrounded by enemies. I used to question it and him a lot but my love reminded me
“In order for me to prepare a table in front of your enemies they have to be around “. I also love how you mention the gifts that your family has that the Lord uses to lead you. I always felt like I was in the matrix and everyone seen, heard or dreamed how I do. It brings me such comfort knowing my love hand-picked gifts quirks and features that make me, me. I’m actually really thankful that “he leads me” is something I can fall back on each day it helps me submit my to do list to him. I just write everything down (especially when I’m overwhelmed) put a prayer on the back of it and slip it into my journal and let him “Lead me” otherwise I try to do things with my own strength. As a former people pleaser my HH has me rest and be still more than I care to admit but it’s taught me a lot.

    1. Thank you for sharing this Alisea, yes He leads us through valleys that is not always easy, but we have to hold on to Him and follow knowing it’s all part of a bigger, glorious plan for us and for His glory. Through the divorce I already drew so much closer to my Beloved and it changed my relationship with Him completely, it was through the divorce that I fell in love with my Husband. But through the custody battle He took me so much higher, to a different level of trust and surrender. And now things are turning around for His glory.

  4. I love to live this principle!! When my flesh gets scared I repeat this phrase always!!! This was such a blessing for me today!!! I want to be closer to Him, so I can listen to Him more clearly!!!

  5. As you said on Encouraging Blog, these are such powerful words. And yes, Psalms are my favourite as well. I love poems. Also, it really helped me to get rid of depression in my live and I would really encourage everyone coming here to read your Psalms and proverbs, even in the beginning if that is all you read daily. Yes, Erin, even in my life, I am doing so many things I have never though I would ever do and I am sure for anyone looking in they think we are crazy. Hahahaha, I told the children once, if someone looks at our lives and don’t think we are a little crazy, we must be doing it wrong.

    1. Yes who would have thought that we would do what we do, even if it looks crazy :). But He directs our steps, even if we plan our ways. I love the Psalms as well, when I struggle to sleep, I close my eyes and listen to the Psalms on Youversion until I fall asleep.
