Dear Brides, don't you want to be at the finish line when the Lord gives you what you have been trusting Him for? When you believe the impossible and even though it might take a moment, when God moves that mountain, you will prove that when you hope in the Lord, nothing is impossible!
When God promises something, He will always come through because He is faithful to His word. The hard part for us is the wait. But in that wait, the Lord is preparing everything and everyone who is a part of that promise. That's when the pruning, refining and the softening and testing of our hearts is taking place and sometimes that requires time and trials to get the right heart.
When we are in the midst of our pain, the waiting is so hard to understand because we think that God is not listening, but He is. He is there with us helping us through, transforming and molding us more into His image. The Lord is not indifferent to our suffering and pain but we have to understand the the Lord has an appointed time to bring His promise into our lives. Sometimes things will get worse as we wait but He has called us to live by faith and trust that whatever He promised will come to pass even though it takes time, though it will not tarry.
What we do during the wait is very important. Making the right decisions, doing what is right and having the right attitude are reflections of having the right heart. He promises to bless us double for what has been taken from us and double for all our sins, and that keeps me with great anticipation for what is up ahead!
Dear Bride, God is faithful to carry out His plans and purposes at His appointed time and to finish the good work He has started in the lives of all His brides. Whatever you are waiting for, trust that it is worth the wait!
