â Today's Promise: âEven though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort meâ Psalm 23:4
~ Ruby in California
Dear Brides, you may think, like I did, that living a Christian life, being a believer, being saved meant that life would be trouble free. It may seem that way from the outside looking in. But this will help us to understand more what it actually means. We ALL have to walk through some dark valleys, believers and unbelievers alike. But be encouraged! As His Bride we no longer walk alone. Our Heavenly Husband walks with us!! PYL \o/
These verses have helped me go through so many tough times. It could be something brought in front of us by others or it could be something that My Love is cleansing me of, something He has brought to my attention and I must go through my own valley of tears with Him. Others donât even know what Iâm going through. Itâs just me and My Husband going through it together. As He cleanses me of anything that separates us, it may hurt, I may go through some painful emotions and lots of tears, but at the end of it all is a wonderful love, peace, joy and trust that is more than it was before. It increases and grows each time we go through a valley together. Rejoice, because whenever there is a breakdown there is always a breakthrough!!
It is normal for us to fear when we are facing a dark valley and we know we need to keep walking towards it. It is normal to want to turn the other way and run from it. But Dear Brides, in that dark valley is where Our True Love and Faithful Husband waits for us. As we grow our intimacy with Our Heavenly Husband we will eventually start to look forward to these terrible walks because we know we will be closer to Our True Love than ever before.
And just know that these valleys are sometimes created by Our HH because He knows itâs what is needed to have more of us and for us to have more of Him. Isnât that our lifeâs goal now, our hearts desire? It is mine.
When we need love, encouragement, forgiveness, comfort, He may create a situation for you to give those things to another. He may bring to you someone who is struggling or even someone who is being difficult. This is what will allow Him to grow that what you needed inside of you and that brings permanent change in you.
Dear Brides, we will always face dark valleys. But we donât have to walk alone anymore. We have The Most Wonderful Husband that goes with us always. We just need to be willing to take His hand and trust in Him. We will face evil brought on to us from others, even loved ones. Just know that Our Faithful Husband is in control and has allowed it for a purpose. Stay ever so close to Him that nothing will harm or hurt you. We will have financial struggles. Our Provider will provide us what we need when we show His love to others by giving to those in need, especially when we donât think we have it to spare. We will at times just need to feel more love, comfort, joy, encouragement etc. whatever we need we can get from Our True Love. When we think we donât have it to give He will create a situation or bring someone to you and He will refill and replenish our supply so that we have enough to give to others.
"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is Godâs will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Brides, replace the fear with trust and rejoice always. Again I say, rejoice \o/
"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!" Philippians 4:4
