Years ago when I begged my earthly husband for money and he didn’t want to give me money, I was so upset and then of course I had my own plan (but God’s plan was better) and decided that I would then fast for 21 days and not eat anything because I wanted to “twist the Lord’s arm” to convince my earthly husband to give me money (I admit today that it was so very very wrong of me – “Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
Although the Lord told me that He was not going to convince my earthly husband to give me money, the fast brought me very close to Him. I believe with all my heart that my Heavenly Husband could convince my earthly husband to give me money, but He chose to do something much better because He knows better. My Heavenly Husband said He wants to be my Provider and that I don’t need my earthly husband’s money and to this day my Heavenly Husband still takes care of me much better than my earthly husband could. I give my Heavenly Husband all the glory and all the praise for His provision with everything I need.
Thank you so much my dear Janine for the reminder and I can remember you sharing this testimony on the CT WW Retreat. We have a Heavenly Husband that wants to provide everything we need, we do not have to look for others to provide, He will lay it on somebody’s heart to provide when that is His plan, but we have to trust Him to do it and not do anything in the flesh. But the fast did bring you closer to Him and He showed you that He is your Provider ever since \o/\o/
Yes dear Adina and when I look back on my life my Heavenly Husband provided everything I need and wow not the I am tithing even more.

We do what we are taught and encouraged to do whether it’s an EH or using the courts or appealing to everyone who has limited resources rather than the One who owns everything and is the One who very likely turned/hardened the heart 🖤 of your EH because your Darling Husband set you up for ALL He wanted to bless you with. What a marvelous testimony He’s given you for your portfolio Janine.
Thank you dear Erin, I will use it on my portfolio. I remember looking to my EH to provide and it was so tiring, now I can relax and yes I also think He was the One that hardened my EH’s heart because He had so much more in store for me.

I know I did until I truly started to understand my Husbands heart…
But praise look at how absolutely faithful HE still is!!! to draw you closer to Him despite your mistakes!!!
Yes dear Atarah our hearts can be so deceitful and I praise my HH for drawing me closer to Him even after I had no right to try to convince the Lord rather than just trusting Him because His providing is sufficient for us.
