“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” M5:3
Dear ones, last week talking to my sisters, the youngest one came up with a question about why the “wicked” are prospering, while she who is following the ways of the Lord has gone through difficult times and faced some need and lack. This reminded me of Chapter 8 "Embracing Poverty" of the Breaking Free from the Poverty Mentality course, and I was able to encourage you with what I learned here.
Dear ones, we often feel that we are being punished, or we feel ashamed to see others look at us with indifference when we are following the Lord, and the circumstances around us say otherwise. But what our Beloved wants is for us to embrace the situation and do what is right, which is to continue moving forward and looking forward, "for those who hope in the Lord will never be disappointed." In the end, the blessing will be revealed, because His plans for us are to bless us and not to harm us. We need to see the hidden blessing and believe that we will be blessed even if we have to go through a difficult path, He will bless our life.
Everything we go through is to become a beautiful testimony that will help encourage more people, and impact many lives through His glory operated through us.
So dear, if there is something in your life right now that you need to embrace, even if you are not excited to do it, move forward and move on, don't focus on the reward, embrace it out of love for your Beloved, start warming your heart and do what it is right for pleasure to serve Him. Pull close and hug, your eyes will open to see the true Light, and you will be able to see how many blessings are right before you, such incredible blessings! Feel a peace that passes all understanding surrounding you, He will show you so many things and you will be able to see that you have much, much more than money could ever buy. Real wealth is not in what we think we need, but in what is really important.
