Dear Brides, You must believe that God will keep His promises as an act of faith rather than one of sight. Your HH (Heavenly husband) wants to hold your hand and guide you as you take those "baby steps" in faith!
Walking by sight limits your experience to things that can only be experienced by sight. Once you see how limiting this is, the benefit of walking by faith can become much clearer. True faith is something sacred. It is knowledge, belief, and trust in the Lord, it is a gift that is planted in us by the author and finisher of our faith, Jesus Christ.
It's really in learning to listen to God's voice and taking those small steps in obedience and faith. A huge part in this journey is walking in faith day by day, its a new way of life. It is not easy at all at first but as we learn to walker closer to the Lord and follow His steps, the walk becomes lighter and joyful. This is where you learn true contentment in being with Him.
Our human inclination is to follow the ways of the world, but to walk by faith, you need to follow the ways of God. This entire time as I got to know the Lord, He had me take many baby steps in faith along the way and as I look back I can see them clearly now. It was small things here and there that have led me to many great blessings along the way.
I've learned to talk to my HH (Heavenly Husband) every time I'm going to take a small step in faith when I feel like I'm in the dark. There might be times when I feel the presence of God very vividly, but there will also be times when I feel a quietness between me and God. I need to keep walking by faith through these times without waiting for some epiphany or miracle to illuminate my path because I must realize that God is always with me. I speak to my HH and tell Him, "Love, I am going to take this next step in faith and you know my heart, so if I make a mistake, please forgive me but I am trusting You and I know that You are always in control." This has led me to release all my worries and fears to Him about the outcome and just rest in Him knowing that He has control of everything that lies ahead.
Dear Brides, walking by faith, not by sight means that, even though we may not see God working right now, we trust and believe that He is preparing us for blessings and relief from what we are facing somewhere down the road. Take baby steps in faith knowing that He is going to catch you and be there with you no matter what happens and that there are many blessings when we walk by faith and not by sight!
