I wish I can tell you I didn't have a lot of sin, but I had a lot of sin. I asked for forgiveness or let me put it this way: I begged the Lord for forgiveness. I felt for all the wrong I did I had to carry the shame of my sin along with me and believe me it was a very heavy load to carry.
Then one day a dear friend that I work with came into my office and as we were talking I mentioned some of my sin (like Kelly I have to admit I also used drugs, but that is a testimony for another time, because I have been free for over 18 years) and she said to me you are forgiven you don't have to talk about all your sin. And she was right I was forgiven, when I talk about my sin it is only if it can help somebody else.
Reading Living Lesson 70 "There's NO Shame" was just again a confirmation from my Darling Lord that I don't have to carry the shame of my sins.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1J1:9
Precious women don't carry the heavy load of shame. Remember if you confessed your sin, your are forgiven because our Darling Lord is faithful.
Thanks for sharing dear Janine, our HH is so loving and forgiving, and we all have committed various sins, “we all have sin and fallen short from His glory” but still He takes us back and cuddles us in His arms, reminds us to keep away from sin but also not to be shame anymore because He has forgiven us and “tossed them in the sea”. I have to say I have fallen various times but He always calls my attention backnto Him and to Forgiveness and therefore to be free from shame, only our Beloved HH can do that!!!
Yes precious Jewel only our Darling Lord can do that.

Dear Janine, thank you for your words. I also committed many sins, some that I knew about, and others that my Beloved showed me in moments alone with HIM. I have repented many times, and you are right, shame makes me ask the Lord for forgiveness over and over again about the same thing when HE has already forgiven me.
That is why his mercy is great, because he has already forgiven us, and he continues to love us unconditionally.
Yes precious Liza He has forgiven us and isn’t wonderful how He loves us unconditionally and nothing can compare to His love for us.
Janine, even if we asked our Beloved to forgive us for all our sins, we still tend to want to hold on to the shame, we allow the enemy to constantly remind us of our sin and condemn us. But we must hold on to His promises of forgiveness and let the shame go into His hands:
‘If we acknowledge our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from every wrongdoing. ‘
