â Today's Promise: "Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fretâit leads only to evil. For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land. A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.â Psalm 37:1-11

Dear brides, let us remember that He knows the best time to heal all that needs to be healed, knowing that for now we can focus on our Husband and enjoy our time together.
The comparison with the scab is excellent! The wound needs to be healed and it takes some time to heal, so you need to wait for it to heal well. Our beloved Husband does exactly that, He uses the time for us to be healed, for our relationships to be healed, without us interfering, screwing up. Because if we tear off the scab, we open the wound, it will take even longer to heal and an ugly scar will remain.
This chapter reminded me that time is of the essence. It's about trust in our Beloved, because we women don't tend to let things flow. Everything has to be carefully planned in advance, because we feel that if we don't take care of it, no one else will, or it will be done poorly. When I think about how much my Beloved has already changed me, how He has gifted me with peace, love, compassion, forgiveness towards people, then I realize how wonderful and perfect His plan is.
Obedience and the joy of doing His will, the fact that I want to please Him drives me and I can enjoy His company, His love and His embrace more. I will focus more on His words and look for the good in everything. I will express my trust in Him with my words and actions and I will wait for His solutions because they are the best.
When I was a little girl, about 3 years old, I was in the kitchen spinning around. My mom warned me not to do that because I might hit the corner of the table. But I didn't want to listen to her and continued spinning until my head spun and I landed like a magnet with my head on the corner of the table. The corner missed my eye by a few millimeters, and I've had a scar on my eyebrow ever since, reminding me that my disobedience has consequences. Even though He made a promise, it doesn't mean I don't have to be obedient to His will and Word. Disobedience only prolongs the healing time.
Dear brides, the way we have led our lives until now has been the worldly way, we have solved immediately and in our own way, mostly contrary to what is written in the Bible. But now a new time has come, a new way of solving broken relationships, a new way of healing wounds. Looking for different substitutes and quick "bandaids" is not what will move us forward. It sounds crazy, but we will move forward if we calm down and calmly focus on Him who is happy to solve everything for us. Let's hope in Him!
