Cooking has become a pleasure.

I want to get accustomed to praising my love in the storm instead of focusing on the winds that surround me. So anytime the storms become unbearable I KNOW there are countless things I can thank him for. This week I’ve been able to cook for my family and eat the types of foods I like. Normally I would get pushback or “I don’t want that” when it comes to my cooking but not this week! I’ve been able to let go of control when it comes to my “diet” or what my children eat knowing my lord is leading me and it has produced beautiful fruits of peace during dinner time. Brides I hope you remember that there might be five horrible things happening to you all at once but they are countless benefits, and blessings being poured on you every day!

Psalms 34:1-3 – (A Psalm of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.) I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Psalms 103:1-10 – (A Psalm of David.) Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Psalms 103:2 – Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits

  1. Thank you so much for this praise my dear Alisea! Wonderful things happen when we let go of control in our life. I got to a point where I dreaded cooking because my children didn’t eat what I cooked, especially my son. It’s not that I am a bad cook, they just didn’t like what I cooked, it was too spicy, or they don’t like this or that, and I do not like to waste food. But I gave it to my Husband and let it go and ask Him what I must cook for my children. If I follow His lead, it is always a success, and they love what He led me to cook. My daughter is now open to try new dishes and my son is also willing to try new things, which makes it so much easier to cook.
