â Today's Promise: âTrust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight. â Proverbs 3:5-6.
~ Dinah in Kenya
I have learnt that we have to be completely surrendered to God for anything in this life to work out. Things are bound to fall apart when we lean on our own understanding. Whatever is working in our life is because He is gracious to us and not because we deserve it more than others and therefore we should be ever more grateful for that.
The title of this chapter âLet Her Works Praise Herâ really caught my eye. Why, you ask? For a while now, I have wanted my life to mean something (it hasnât been the case). My vision and dreams died and it has been frustrating.
I feel like this chapter is the beginning of the end of the confusion in my life. I am proof of James 3:16. I have always been envious and selfish (am not afraid to admit it any longer) about other peopleâs careers, their possessions, children, you name it⌠I am utterly disgusted with the person I have been. ButâŚthere is hope! I have found this hope in My Love, my Heavenly Husband!!
I have had a wonderful time this morning. I repented of my envy and selfishness and everything else the Lord put in my heart and thanked Him for everything He has blessed me with Including the opportunity to live with my brother and His wife which has been a real challenge for me (due to my judgmental attitude which the Lord is working on gradually).
Just knowing that I can surrender to my Husband and allow Him to work in me is amazing and such a relief because honestly I wouldnât know what to do if I were to do it by myself.
Surrender! Complete surrender and trust in Him who first loved me before I knew Him.
Dear Brides, your fruitfulness comes from Him. Without Him, you cannot bear any fruit. So dear ones hang on to Him, love and trust Him completely and He will renew your life.
This book will teach you to rely on the Lord in all things; your life will never be the same again.
âTrust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight. â Proverbs 3:5-6.
This scripture reminds me of the need to surrender completely to our savior and King. The promise is so clear. For those who have been wondering in the desert, our solution to a clear path is right here.
