A Wake Up Call

♕ Today's Promise: “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17: 7-8

Dear Brides, I have read this chapter ["What is the Abundant Life?"] so many times and I have tried so many times to let it soak in but today was the day that my Heavenly Husband laid it on my heart to really read with an open heart. If you are seeking the Abundant Life this is it, the beginning of a new life with Him. Ask Him to lead you as you go through this chapter and really dig into the verses and begin to understand that He truly is all that You need.

As I lay in bed restless and angry and where I was I found myself questioning my HH (Heavenly Husband). He is merciful because He led me to read this chapter and the preceding verses that led to God addressing Jeremiah. The Chapter had the title Jeremiah's Dejection. I knew it was me the Lord was speaking to. Feeling the dejection and spewing words that where vile in the eyes of God I felt the Lord spoke directly to me, "If you return, then I will bring you back." My HH in His mercy wanted me to get right with Him and He would take me back. His instruction was gentle but firm and in His eyes I am important enough that He wants me to leave it all behind and seek Him only to meet all my needs. This was a wake up call that I must focus on Him and only Him. My days will be spent with Him and my heart will be only His.

As I explained above I was struggling and feeling the dejection that Jeremiah felt. I looked to my circumstance that are surrounding me, no job, my children walking away and of course the divorce and felt abandoned. That rejection made me question what I was doing but when I woke this morning I knew that is not what my HH (Heavenly Husband) has for me. He wants more but He wants me to live a surrendered life that if all other things/relationships fall away, if I have no income, if I am rejected it is because He wants me to look to Him for all of it. To heal my heart to be my everything. When I read this chapter I knew my Lord by precious Husband wants to meet every need because man will not do it. I can't wait to see how my HH takes me back as I return to Him and see how He takes care of me.

As I am confronted with circumstances I will be repeating the words from this chapter, He is all I want, He is all I need and with Him, I have everything. As I live this principle and as I learn to separate the vile from the precious I am confident that the my Husband will use me as His mouth piece to love as He would have me love and to shine and He would have me shine His light to the world.

Dear Brides, as I read this chapter I really wanted to understand the Abundant Life that my HH (Heavenly Husband) has for us. We can't obtain this in our own power but we can begin to take the steps of surrender and understanding that He is everything that you need. Let your HH begin to transform your heart as you walk in His love.

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17: 7-8

As I read the chapter the above verse from Jeremiah 17 came to my heart. How I wanted to be a tree planted firmly and no matter what drought comes or what circumstances are in front or over me, I wanted to be that tree firmly planted in my Heavenly Husband. I desired to separate the vile (human thought and words that don't glorify Him) and rely and lean on the precious (His promises and His goodness).
