“Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,â and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.” M11:23
I am currently doing Moving Mountains and l have read this chapter a few times. Chapter 10 and the title is “Mountains to Climb”. https://loveatlast.org/fc/moving-mountains/chapter-10-mountains-to-climb/
At the top is the scripture that this course is based on that when we have faith and speak to our mountains and not doubt and it will move…
But what if we have a mountain that dont seem to want to budge or move? What does that mean especially if we have prayed and trusted?
What l learned is that sometimes the Lord is calling us to not move but to climb a mountain.. That is when we see no answers and we have to believe no matter what that He will work it out for good even if it gets worse.
Our faith in the Lord and his ability to work things out for good can only be learned in this way. I learned that no matter how things look in the natural we have to believe that He has a plan. We have to lean not on our own understanding.
There is no way to experience deep intimacy with the Lord unless we are going through something really hard or painful otherwise we would not seek Him. We would not cry out to Him. If life was so easy why would we ever need Him?
He uses these mountains we need to climb as a means to draw us closer to Him and to experience a greater intimacy. So when we have a mountain thhat doesn’t move its time to press in and watch how He will work it out for good đ
âNow glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream ofâinfinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes.â E3:20
Thank you for sharing this dear Atarah, this is beautiful and I just love how my Darling talking to me these last few weeks through mountains. My Darling is for sure busy in my life sorting out all the mountains.
Thank you so much for sharing Atarah, yes His ways are higher than our ways, and sometimes we have to climb over the mountain or go through the valley. But He will give us everything we need to be able to climb the mountain if we keep our eyes on Him and grab on to Him with all we have, thus growing in our relationship and intimacy with our Heavenly Husband.
With Him by our side we will be able to climb over the mountain or go through the valley.
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
