Finding the Abundant Life – Chapter 1

Today I want to start my series on Finding the Abundant Life, and in my first podcast I want to share with you what I have learned from Chapter 1 "What is the Abundant Life?"

“For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it” (Matt. 16:25).

“Therefore, thus says the LORD, ‘If you return, then I will restore you—Before Me you will stand; And if you extract the precious from the worthless, You will become My spokesman. They for their part may turn to you, But as for you, you must not turn to them” (Jer. 15:19).

“For the LORD has called you, Like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, Even like a wife of one’s youth when she is rejected,’ Says your God
For your Husband is your Maker, Whose name is the LORD of hosts; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth’” (Isaiah 54:6–5).

  1. Amen Adina !! Love the FAL!! Chapter 1 & 2 is my favourite!! But l love the whole book!! Having found HIM as my Husband truly helped me thru some of the most difficult periods in my life when l could run to Him and talk and cry to Him.

    1. Yes Atarah, having Him as your Husband, surrendering and holding on to Him is the only way to get through trails.

  2. Yes indeed my dear I can relate with a lot of what you are sharing!!! When I got to this course, my eyes were open!!
I understod how much loved I am and that my burdens were for Him!!
I canÂŽt wait to listen the next one!!

    1. Thank you Isabella, its only when you embrace Him and surrender everything, laying down the life that you want, and giving control of your life to Him as your Husband, that you find the Abundant Life He died to give us!

  3. Adina, thank you for sharing your Podcast.
I love that book too, and I love the way our Beloved is changing us to become His Bride, and Him becoming our Heavenly Husband, so this new time that He brought us, to have this new life, a life of abundance, it was really the Love that I needed, that sincere Love.

  4. Oh Adina, thanks for sharing this podcast, I prefer the last sentence you said because I think it will touch the lives of many women: “if you live a life of struggle and pain in which you feel that you are surviving, then the Lord is calling to live an abundant life” thanks for sharing what you have learned

    1. Perla we do not have to struggle and live a life full of constant pain and suffering, not when we can have Him by our sides, surrendering everything to Him and embrace Him as our Husband
