💞THANK YOU INSTEAD OF I DON’T DESERVE IT💞

I just read a praise from Janine in South Africa in the 🇿🇦 Afrikaans Blog (https://uiteindelikhoop.com/) about feeling like we don’t deserve anything. I also used to feel like I don’t deserve anything, and still do at times.

But when our Heavenly Husband wants to spoil us, in whatever way or through whoever He chooses, we must just say thank you and praise Him for loving us so much that He knows us that well and the smallest things about us is important to Him. And if He chooses to lay it on someone else’s heart to help us of to give us a gift, we must be grateful and not rob them of the blessing!

Here is Janine’s translated praise:

“I like to use the words: I don’t deserve it, especially when I’m pampered by my Heavenly Husband and that’s really something I really want to try to change.

Yesterday a woman came to me and asked if I would please sit as a model for her daughter (for a hair wash, hair treatment and blow wave) and all for free. I knew it was from my Heavenly Husband because earlier in the week I asked my HM to please help me with my hair because it felt dry after colouring it too much.

As I sit here, I sit with the softest treated hair, nicely blown out the way I like it.

Thank you incredibly much for the pampering my Heavenly Man.”

  1. Thank you Adina, yes He longs to pamper us so much and a lot of times I am the same as you. I never know how to receive something well 🙂 He is working on me and changing me and helping to accept gifts graciously because it all comes from Him in the end.

    1. Yes and what He showed me is that because it is from Him, no matter who He chooses to help us, if I don’t accept what He placed in their hearts, I rob them of their blessing from giving. That made it easier for me to start accepting help and gifts.

  2. Dear Adina, I think so many of us feel that way, but yes He does long and loves to pamper us and I think it’s just a habit that we have to learn to say thank You instead of I don’t deserve it.

  3. I felt the same way, and in my low set of mind, and due to my poverty mentality, I always thought that I in´t deserve to have anything nice or to have a trip!! In my head those were luxuries I couldn´t afford!!
Praise to my Beloved that He showed that HE LOVE ME AND THAT I DO DESERVE THINGS!!
To change that awfl mindset I remember saying:”I am loved, I am forgived, I am worthy, I am saved”
    That changed my heart!!

  4. I’m going to disrupt everything for a second, then AGREE with you all.
Since we are told to AGREE with our adversary, and because the truth is WE DON’T deserve anything… but He does deserve EVERYTHING, and He has chosen us as His bride, we have accepted, and it would be unkind of us, as His bride, to not live like one—smiling and saying THANK YOU is both regal and rewarding too!

    1. So true, we don’t deserve anything, only He deserves everything! It is amazing and humbling that despite us not deserving anything, He still provides for us, and even pamper us, and just the fact that He loves us so much despite us being so undeserving, is far more that I can comprehend or understand.

  5. I was one of those many women rejecting those blessing without knowing them. When I went to ready the living lessons you Adina shared, this was a huge eye opening for me and I felt so ungrateful with my HH for not seeing all that He wanted to give me. Although it is not always easy, but I feel a bit better by accepting everything He uses to spoil me through other people’s heart.

    1. thank you Poppy for your comment i just realise something that my Beloved has done for me. My eyes where close but now they are open, after just reading your comment.
I have a colleague who once in a while gives me bags of clothes and shoes. Really beautiful things. I never realized that these are blessings from my Love. Last Friday I wore something to work and all day long people complimented me on how nice and beautiful I looked. At first I felt very insecure but after that I said thank you every time. Your comment reminds me of our conversations about telling myself I look great. And only through Him who loves me so.

  6. Thanks so much for sharing this from Janine and the AFR blog, I’m so glad that I came to read this and all these comments because I find it so hard to accept help or even when someone wants to do something for me to bless me… like when the lady doing my nails blessed me by not charging me when she fixed my nail that tore because I bumped it. Before I became His bride I was so poor in spirit and good things in life but now I see more and more how much He wants to bless me just because He loves me!!! OOOh I’m loving all this so glad I was led here to read!!
