You’re Right, I Need a Boyfriend

Before I walk away from an opportunity to encourage each of you, even though I feel pressed because I am way too busy, my Husband assured me (because I'm totally leaning on Him, even more today: emotionally, spiritually, and physically (having trouble walking) and He assured me we have all the time we need.

So as many of you may have heard, I was given the opportunity to minister to my younger sister when she was facing the possibility of cancer. So first, rather than asking for prayer, remember GOD uses everything for good, and many times, He's setting you up to MINISTER to the one who is waiting for the test results. My Husband reminded me that back when I worked in pro-life, it was the only place they could get a pregnancy test or go to their doctor—we would take as LONG as we needed to listen to their story and encourage them while they were open to hearing the truth about the life that could be in them. We also knew if it was negative and then would minister to these (mostly young unmarried girts) their value and the beauty of waiting for a man who committed to them.

Anyway... my sister formed a very close and intimate relationship with the Lord but she could never bring herself to thinking or referring to Him as her Husband. So, because she is so funny, she began referring to Him as her Brother-in-law 😂 (because He's my Husband). At first, she said it with a quick apology because if I had been RELIGIOUS, I would have gotten VERY offended, right? But I knew my Husband is "sitting in the heavens and laughing" right along with me. Now, fast forward to today.

Yesterday, I was given another opportunity to minister to my sister to bring her a bit closer when she texted she'd tripped and bruised her chest. OUCH! But she also burned her hand, double OUCH OUCH. So I left her a voice note with how sorry, how horrible, and rather than offer her religion, "I'll pray for you," I offered her a bit more. HLM to say something like, "I know you and the Lord are extremely close, but if you're not ready for a Husband, you sure could use a Boyfriend." I may have even said, "Live in Boyfriend," and guess what?

Supernaturally, she was much better, out walking her dog, and left me a voice note saying, "You're right. I do need a boyfriend, so I am going to have a long talk with Him later today."

That's not all. She also trusted Him as her Physician!!! https://loveatlast.org/ryh/ after I pointed out while watching a British series that, unlike the USA, the UK has socialized medicine, so without funding as we have here, they do a LOT LOT MORE of letting the body heal itself—because God created our bodies to heal itself, and she also did not take any of her leftover pain medicine she had. If you knew my sister as I do, you would be just as amazed!!

Since I told her I planned to post this praise, I am excited to see if any of you have a similar praise you can share. I promise I don't need any accolades (recognition or affirmation). What I'd prefer is if you don't have a similar praise, you ask Him to give you one.

  1. What a lovely surprise to see
    💗LoveAtLast.ORG
We have something new for you!!
In my inbox. I’m not sure who we have on our mailing list nor how often or what HE HAS PLANNED for who will post (though He did just remind me that only the login levels that have the + sign on the menu bar will or should be able to) but what I’m sensing here and now is posts being reserved for personal praise about finding or living 💗LoveAtLast does that make sense?

When you comment stick to the original posted praise please đŸ™đŸ» and if you want to confirm who and what should be reserved for posts here then comment beneath this one. “Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.”

    1. The ladies that have previously subscribed to the LoveAtLast blog, got this notification. I am sure He will show us what to do when the time is right. The first thing that came to mind is that we subscribe the ladies that joins His “Church without walls”

  2. Also….this made me laugh too 😁
So, because she is so funny, she began referring to Him as her Brother-in-law 😂 (because He’s my Husband).

  3. Thank you for sharing Erin, it put a smile on my face to hear how she called the Lord her brother in law😁 Loved what you shared about Pro-life because so many young girls do not know their value in the Lord and being bombarded with what is going on in the world today, loose their way in what the world teaches.
