Dear Brides,
This is the second time Im reading and journaling this chapter of the abundant life. It is really enlightening as to what it means to have Christ as our Heavenly Husband and how we achieve an abundant life in Him.
I have since been praying for restoration of my marriage and never really focused on my relationship with the Lord. I spent most times binding and attacking witchcraft directed toward my husband and my family by the OW (other woman). I spent a lot of time focusing on attacking the enemy holding my EH (earthly husband) in bondage. But through going through this chapters content I realised that I had neglected having a relationship with my Lord who is my Heavenly Husband and sought the Lord's hand instead of His face. This chapter "What Is the Abundant Life?" just revealed to me how I will live an abundant life through Him.
I have been struggling with dealing with how my EH (earthly husband) has not been changing irregardless of the spiritual warfare I have been doing and realised that my Heavenly Husband is here offering to give me an abundant life where I do not have to live as a single woman because my EH left but that I open up my heart and allow Him to love me and comfort me and walk this journey with Him, embrace His love and finding unspeakable joy which nobody can ever give, even my EH. I have realised that very few people actually manage to have such a relationship with the Lord.
By His grace I would like to focus more on my relationship with my Heavenly Husband, even as He said I should open up my heart to Him and allow Him to love me, care for me, have communion with Him by spending more time conversing with Him, as this type of relationship can not be attained through reading the word or listening to restored testimony audios. I really want to focus on Him and asking Him to show me how I can develop deep intimacy with Him, with the realisation that I am His bride, the church and He requires fellowship with me not just in a physical church.
Dear Brides, this chapter enlightens you about what the Lord meant when He said HE CAME TO GIVE US AN ABUNDANT life. A life full of joy unspeakable and peace which nobody in the world can give even our seemingly super loving husbands.
