This chapter "What Is the Abundant Life?" shows you how entitled you are to have a life full of peace, love and abundance. The Lord is good and wants you to know that when He is first in your life, your life will be beautiful.
It is beautiful to know that the Lord wants us happy, complete, full of Joy and peace. Also that He is the one that fights our battles that He has overcome the World.
For me it is important to read again and journal since while reading this book I have felt sad at times because the author goes through many trials. I had felt confused because the previous books gave me faith in that the Lord wanted to restore my marriage and in this book it is like I should not expect that. It has been hard for me and it took a while for me to continúe journaling.
However, today is the day to give my marriage restoration to the Lord and know that His will is perfect and I can Trust Him. I had fallen in love with the Lord years ago, and He has been my strength and has taken so good care of me and my children and even though I had tried several times, tried to let go of my marriage restoration and had to live with my Beloved, deep inside I had hope in His power to restore us and His desire to do it.
Today before journaling, I cried giving it to Him again and asked Him to give me strength and help me Trust Him completely even if He did not do it. It is hard because I trusted Him for that and I do not want to lose His love and my faith in Him after years of seeing my ex EH (earthly husband) not changing and my marriage not improving.
Today I pray Thy will be done, and no matter what happens to Trust that a change for good will come after surrendering for His will.
And please do not misunderstand me, the fact that I see my EH (earthly husband) being the same as when he left, does not mean that the Lord has not done anything. He has changed me and my children, and He has blessed us, with the most tender miracles.. I love Him and without Him I do not know where my children and I would be... He is my first love and I know how much He loves us. But I will continúe my journey and will listen to Him through this book because He is asking me to do it. I Trust that it will be light and life in abundance.
I have felt that my Lord has been supporting me with everything, but there has been no progress in my marriage restoration and sometimes I feel lonely and worry about my future when my children leave. This chapter is telling me that I should not worry because the Lord will take care of me and those circumstances that I fear... He will give me everything because with Him I have everything I need.
I like to always be grateful for everything He does everyday, I make it evident to my children everyday while we pray at the table. I live a life that is according to God's commandments even when it is not easy and people tell me not to be silly, and I show joy in my life.. For I learned of His love and His sacrifice for me to make me free.
Dear Bride, the love of the Lord is magnificent. Get closer to Him so that you can learn how precious you are, yes you are... While you learn from Him, you will also see yourself differently, you will learn why you are so worth His love.
