I felt like David defeated Goliath

"Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood. For your Maker is your husband—the Lord Almighty is his name— the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth." Isaiah 54:4-5

Girls, if you've been left alone without an earthly husband on the restoration journey, you may have a moment when you need help with something physically heavy. I want to tell you from my own experience that you should never start to feel self pity that you are now alone and immediately turn to our Beloved. Either he will send you someone, or He will help you somehow, as I have experienced.
Recently, I found out that we have a big mold behind the closet where we sleep. I needed to remove it and clean it. The closet is big, heavy, so I asked my earthly husband to help me move it. Apparently, he was nervous with the children and his answer was an awkward no, that it all had to be taken out and now he didn't want to. (please don't look at this as my husband's sin, the Lord is working on him a lot, but I want to show you the power of our Beloved) I immediately turned in my spirit to my Heavenly Husband that I need to clean it up as soon as possible and I have little time, because my husband usually looks after our three small children, just for three quarters of an hour. I immediately felt calm and guided to sit in a corner and spread my legs slowly to try to pull her away. And wow, it worked :)))))) I managed to move the huge, heavy closet exactly as far as I needed. I felt like David had defeated Goliath!!! :)) It really seemed impossible at first look, and even my earthly husband said that we had to empty it first to be able to move it. Girls, it was extremely wonderful, I felt great joy and such real love manifested in real help. That small hurt and disappointment from my husband's reaction was healed very quickly again and I am grateful that instead of falling into self-pity, I turned to the One Who is able to give us even the greatest strength we need. Girls, you are never alone!!!
much love Anissa 🙂

  1. Thank you for sharing Anissa, I remember years ago starting to cry because I couldn’t open a bottle and the moment I asked my Darling to help me He did. He is so wonderful.

  2. I loved reading this Anissa and l completely relate!! My earthly husband works and he loves going fishing and sometimes he does not like to be bothered especially when its stuff that needs to be done in the home… We are so blessed to have a Heavenly Husband that is interested and wants to help us in everything we are doing 🙂🙌

How amazing that you were able to move such a heavy cupboard!!

I am reminded of the psalm “where dies my help come from? My help comes from the Lord the maker of heaven and earth.”

    1. Yes Atarah, it’s great!! I’m so sorry I didn’t turn to Him long time ago when I got a negative response from my earthly husband but I pressured him what caused us many arguments and pain :((( I WANT to shout it out to all the women!!! 🙂 so they don’t make the same mistake like me!!! :)))

  3. Thank you for sharing Anissa! It’s thru the day-to-day things that HH shows us how much He cares and is always there by our side.
