â Today's Promise: âTruly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, âBe taken up and cast into the sea,â and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.â Mark 11: 23
~ Ruby in California
Dear Brides, this chapter ["Moving Your Mountains"] helps to remind us of all the smaller mountains that we face and look at them be moved. Some we didnât even know where moved at the time.
The phrase that caught my attention in this chapter was the difference between hoping and having faith.
A couple of things that I have been facing recently. My EH (earthly husband) has now started to give me a monthly allowance to pay all my own bills as he divided them. I donât know how I will afford everything but I have a strong faith that My Love will provide for us as He has been doing all along. Even when EH and his lawyer said I would fail and needed to get a job and I wouldnât be able to afford the bills. I had faith that My Love would take care of us. He is our Provider. Before this I had gotten even a smaller allowance only for gas and groceries. My Love provided for us and we never were in need. Now with this new financial arrangement I have no doubt that My Love will provide.
Next, I also just said to My Love the other day, even if I donât long for restoration anymore, I see the OW (other woman) as just another mountain and I jokingly said can You move her and toss her into the sea. I laughed and asked for forgiveness because she is a child of God after all but I said I know the promises You made to me and I know what Your Word says is true. I have faith that this mountain will be moved in Your perfect time.
Last, I have had trouble lately saying to people I hope you get better soon or I hope things work out for you. Especially not knowing Godâs Will for them in their hearts and lives.
But now I will meditate on this and will ask the Lord how I can not just hope for the best but how can I have faith and show others the work of the Lord.
Dear Brides, this chapter can bring us higher. Bring us closer to our Heavenly Husband. To have faith in His Word and Promises even when things seem impossible. Remember With man things are impossible but with God all things are possible. We just need to have faith and our mountains will be moved and cast into the sea!!
âTruly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, âBe taken up and cast into the sea,â and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.â Mark 11: 23
This verse gives me so much faith. I know nothing is impossible for God. We only need to have faith.
