It Lessens the Pain

♕ Today's Promise: "Therefore, thus says the LORD, ‘If you return, then I will restore you—Before Me you will stand; And if you extract the precious from the worthless, You will become My spokesman. They for their part may turn to you, But as for you, you must not turn to them.'” Jeremiah 15:19

Dear Brides, this chapter in finding abundant life is amazing because it shows you how to become one with your Heavenly Husband and how to live the life that He created you to live.

This lesson has taught me what it truly means to abide in Christ. My eyes have opened to desire a more personal, intimate relationship with Him. I once viewed an abundant life as a life in which God gives us a blessed life because we have chosen to be His but its much deeper than that. I now know that an abundant life in Him is living the joyous life that He created for us when we put Him first in everything. By giving Him our whole heart, knowing that God is all I want and all I need. Extracting out the precious from the worthless.

I often struggle with the heartache of my earthly husband's affair and the details of it. Sometimes when I'm not focused on God, I allow my mind to wander and focus on the hurt, pain, rejection, and disappointments I feel from my husband. When I heard the story of the dying girl in this lesson, it gave me courage, hope, and brought joy to my heart to know that I have God and He has me. I have the Lord and HE is all I need. HE is everything. I have everything that I need. As I continue to think on this and make it a part of my reality, it lessens the pain, hurt, disappoint I feel because I know that my husband cannot love me, provide for me, care for me, or cherish me like my Heavenly Husband can. God is all I need.

I plan to live out God's principles by reading God's word and applying to my daily life, praying to God, doing the RYM (Restore Your Marriage) lessons and developing a more closure relationship with my Heavenly Husband. With these resources, I want to create a more intimate relationship with God by being in His presence daily.

An abundant life in Christ is a life that is fully surrendered to God. It is a life that is “joy unspeakable” because it is full of God’s glory!

"Therefore, thus says the LORD, ‘If you return, then I will restore you—Before Me you will stand; And if you extract the precious from the worthless, You will become My spokesman. They for their part may turn to you, But as for you, you must not turn to them.'” Jeremiah 15:19

"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11

These promises are meaningful to me because it lets me know that God will restore me once I return to Him and He gives me a promise to utilize me for His ministry. I am encouraged to know that whatever God speaks or says it will happen in His timing because Gods word does not lie. Knowing this strengthens my faith.
