Dear bride, it is logical that you think that by working hard you will be able to earn more or by using a lot of energy you will make more room for yourself to make better financial or other choices. Then that's the wrong thoughts. It is not by working harder that we will get more. But by giving more of what we have. The more you give, the more you get back from the Lord. The laws and principles of God are clear. If we learn them and obey them, we will be able to live the abundant life for which He died. You will see that if you follow the worldly ways. You will always get or have less than you think.
What a great chapter ["Obedience Rather Than Sacrifice"] again. How wonderful to learn that there is nothing we can do to get more wealth. Everything we have, we have received from the Lord because He wants to show us His mercy and His love. Nothing is impossible for Him to do. It starts for us with giving our tithe. Showing our love and trust to give Him the best and first of what we have earned. It is best to obey the laws of our God than to make sacrifices. God knows how best to manage our money.
The second action you can take to increase your blessings is to give. Especially when we are in need. The battle you wage for abundance of wealth is not with the enemy but with the Lord of Hosts. When you start working harder and harder. Making sacrifices, you will see that even bringing it home will not be enough. You will only crave more. Many Christians live on the brink of poverty because they unknowingly violate the law of God. Their storehouse is empty and they constantly fight what they think is the enemy. But due to lack of knowledge they perish. And they continue to fight against God. For we must not forget that God holds His Word holy. For when we have learned to give more in every area of our lives, then we will experience the abundant life. But when we keep taking and holding then we'll see. The best thing we can do is to see if we have broken any spiritual law than to look for worldly ways of improvement. To earn more. And there's no reason to worry either. After all, it is He who takes care of you. He is the one who gives us strength to do things.
Recently I got the thought that emotionally can make me very sad. The author of this chapter has several financial testimonies. But for me, emotionally I lack several things. A few months ago I already started giving more compliments and positive attention to others. Watch my words. Speaking only beautiful things. I have always been an insecure person, despite my extravagant appearance. And what I now understand is that I can keep looking for ways to get rid of my insecurity or I can wallow in His Word. And believe what He says about me.
To make this even more real to myself I decided to post any comment that leaves me feeling insecure. To meditate on one of many Bible texts that promise His love and security.
My Beloved I will ask how I can follow His Will. I am a testimony of His Word. And as an example to others I will give my tithe to Him. And my sacrifice to whom or what He asks me to do.
Dear brides, giving is better than taking and keeping. Looking for ways to resolve a situation is wasted energy that you use. The best way to get riches is to teach yourself the laws of our God. To be obedient to His Word. To give tithing. And follow His voice when He asks you to make a sacrifice. Obeying His Word will give you the abundant life that is so fine.

-when we think we will be better off doing things independently, we are disappointed. Even after working so hard, we can get into situations where we don't understand why. But it's all because we thought we needed to lend God a hand. But that's really not necessary.
