💬📳wLL9 “Two-Way Communication”

This morning He led me to wLL 9 "Two-Way Communication." During the WW Retreat in Cape Town, we were reminded about the importance of Seeking God in everything. To always ask Him first because only He has the answers you need. But how many times do we sit and listen to Him, wait to hear His answer? Or do we just ask and rush off doing our own thing again?

I have found in my own life that when I ask His guidance, or ask Him to help me, and I wait to hear from Him, wait to hear His answer, things turn out amazing! But if I don't, if I just ask and then rush off and act in the flesh anyway, things turn out not so well.

Yes, sometimes when I am in an emergency situation, He will answer immediately, but you still have to ask, let Him lead you to what to do, like the last two times I hit potholes that ripped my tyres apart. When I asked Him what to do, He guides me and place the correct person to help me in my heart. One time it happened, someone I knew from gym, just happened to drove by and immediately stopped to help because me and the children were standing next to a dangerous piece of road. And the most important thing, He always makes me calm and gives me peace in situations like that, knowing me and my children are in His hands!

  1. This is probably top of the list of my most favrit living lessons. I find myself going back to read it time and time again. It truly blessed me that much!! Brides if you haven’t read this one yet pls don’t miss out!! It will really help you to open those lines of communication with Him.

  2. I agree Atarah, our time with Him shouldn’t be just us doing all the talking or asking, we should be still and listen to Him as well.

  3. For sure and living the way we do today, just hurrying from the one thing to the other, we really need to make sure that we take the time to just sit with Him instead of thinking of the next thing we need to do. That is really my weakness.
