Chapter 4
Cry out to the LORD
"But in my distress I cried out to the LORD;
yes, I cried to my God for help.
He heard me from his sanctuary;
my cry reached His ears."
Before you speak your pain to anyone else, tell it to the Lord. He is the safest place for your raw emotions, your unanswered questions, and the tears you donât yet know how to explain. His Word reminds us, âBut in my distress I cried out to the LORD; yes, I cried to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry reached his ears.â When your heart is overwhelmedâwhen hurt or anger is still tangled insideâGod invites you to come to Him first. He listens without flinching, comforts without judgment, and heals in ways no human ever could. Learning to bring everything to Him before speaking to others is not silenceâitâs wisdom. Itâs how your heart finds rest before your words ever leave your lips.
