He said He is family

Dear Brides, I didn’t expect another PR so soon but I could not skip any chance to praise the Lord.
A little background about me: I came to U.S. as an international student back then and my plan was to go back after graduation. Apparently the Lord had a different plan – I fell in love and started my family here.
When I was at work yesterday, something EH said last year creeped up in my mind – “you are not family”. This came up from time to time to bring me down and I know the enemy is working hard to destroy every little effort I made so far in my journey. But it did make me sad every time I got reminded because of all the thoughts that came with it – “am I going to a single mom with 2 little kids without any family here”, “am I helpless since I all alone”, “I am a failure for not giving the kids a complete family”. All of sudden, I heard “the Lord is your family”. I almost teared up. That’s right – I have the Lord and He is my family. And THAT IS ENOUGH because when I have Him, I have everything.
Blessed is the name of the Lord! He comforts me exactly when I most need it.
“My heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord; my heart is established. I shall not be afraid until I see my desire come upon the enemy.” Psalm 112:8
“Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!” Isaiah 30:18

  1. Dear Gioia, thank you for this beautiful praise. Yes what a wonderful reminder that He is our family, He is our everything and that is enough and if we have Him we really have everything we need and praise the wonderful Lord for that.

  2. Thank you so much for sharing Gioia, yes He is our family. And He loves us unconditionally, more than we can ever imagine. He is always with us, He is always there listening and He loves it when we spend time with Him and talk to Him, He is always there to guide us in everything. What more does a woman need? 🥰

  3. Dearest Gioia, embracing the Abundant Life Journey, trusting your Husband (and His Family 😍) with the Restoration Journey that is both painful and laborious—I wondered if you had enrolled in one of RMIOUs new Courses—specifically as an ALC!

My Husband led me to what I assumed was to explore the backend to see, however as always “His ways are higher than our ways” and instead I reached out to RMIOUs LMF owner and IOU’s Dean, Yvonne on WhatsApp:

“This lovely bride Gioia is just the type of Abundant Life Coach who can apprentice for Adina. I’m fairly certain I’ve mentioned this to her, Gioia and Adina both before. Maybe it’s better to ask again and not hide this under a bushel. Yes 🙌🏻 I will follow up with a comment.

“Yvonne, no doubt your Husband has spoken to you about many things regarding RMIOU. Have you “envisioned” ahemmm “dreamed” of having on your menu, under Students, a way to easily see your enrolled students and another for instructors 👩🏽‍🏫 using Profile Grid?”

What’s outstanding is Adina is now included in our discussion as we each speak to our Husband how we can help support growing RMIOU and recruiting new students to embark on becoming a minister reaching out to those who are lost and hurting.

A field who is ripe for the picking are the many broken-hearted 💔 brides who have yet to experience their true Love 💗 posting or reading on Hope at Last. I’m excited to see what He’s about to unfold.

    1. Dear Erin,
Yes I am currently enrolled. Some of these chapters spoke to me and helped further my understanding in how to “gain” the abundant life. Thank you for recommending the courses! And yes, if the Lord wills, I would love to become His vessel as an apprentice.

  4. So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. E2:19
